Connie Phillips

President

Connie founded CPI in 1986, but her background in the insurance industry began as a teenager working in an agency in Southern Maryland. With over 40 years of experience in the field, her personal standards of honesty, integrity, respect, accountability and responsibility shape the core values at CPI. Connie is married to her best friend, Karl Brink.

Karl Brink

Vice-President, Office Manager, Client Services

Karl brings a wealth of experience to CPI, including 35 years in the field of engineering, so he knows what to look for when evaluating properties for insurance coverage. He’s been with CPI since 2000, and is married to Connie Phillips, the love of his life.

Dianne Perrey

Account Assistant, Business

Dianne grew up in Poolesville, Maryland. She moved to Illinois, returned to Maryland in 1983, and then in 1995 moved to Florida. Five years later, she moved back to Maryland, settling in Boonsboro. Dianne is married with four children and 13 grandchildren. She loves reading, playing darts, and doing craft work. Her passion is her family and spending time with them. She brings over 16 years of insurance experience to CPI.

Jessica Gray

Business Development Executive

Jessica earned her Property & Casualty license in 2008 and has been servicing our commercial department since 2009. She is excited to be working at CPI where she can put her account development knowledge and insurance experience to use for a locally established agency with a wonderful reputation. Jessica is very passionate about creating a positive experience for our clients. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her two children and training horses.

Milly Ruiz

Receptionist/Personal Lines Assistant, Hispanic Service

Milly joined CPI in 2017. She serves as the front desk receptionist as well as a personal lines assistant. She has worked in the insurance field since 2011 and is driven to earn her Property & Casualty license in the near future. In her free time, Milly dedicates her time to her son. When asked what she likes most about CPI, she replied “the everyday challenges that we are faced with.”

Stacy Reb

Account Executive, Personal

Stacy has worked in the insurance industry since 1989. She joined CPI in 2008 and, as a “people person,” finds great satisfaction in working with her clients. In her free time, Stacy rides motorcycles and enjoys the outdoors. She also has a heart for the elderly and is a faithful volunteer at a local senior home. Her Southern accent is a mix of Mississippi and Louisiana.

Wendy Mendez

Account Executive, Business, Hispanic Service

Fluent in both written and spoken Spanish, Wendy joined CPI in 2007 as a receptionist. She earned her license in casualty and property and now serves as an account executive. Wendy and her husband have two children, and enjoy traveling to visit her family in El Salvador. She loves the friendly atmosphere at CPI and the opportunity to help clients with their insurance needs.

Yennyfer (Jennifer) Rios

Account Executive, Health, Hispanic Service

Yennyfer joined CPI in 2013. A native of Miami, Florida, she speaks Spanish and stays in touch with family members in Nicaragua. She enjoys taking her girls shopping and relaxing by the pool in warmer weather. When asked what she likes most about CPI, Yennyfer replied, “interacting with clients… and Connie and Karl.”

George Callan

Consultant

In the early 1990’s, George kept hearing recommendations for Connie Phillips Insurance. Dissatisfied with his own insurance agent, George visited CPI and was impressed by the level of personal care he received. Over 20 years later, he now serves CPI as a part-time graphics designer, software trainer and marketing/website advisor.
